Creamy Caramel Bread Pudding with Golden Raisins - Sousa's Kitchen

 INGREDIENTS

  • 6 Cups Milk
  • 6 Eggs
  • 1 Can Condensed Milk
  • 6 Slice Bread
  • 1 Tbsp Vanilla Essence
  • 1/2 Tsp Nutmeg
  • 1/2 Tsp Cinnamon Powder
  • 4 Tbsp Butter
  • 1/4 Cup Golden Raisins
  • 1/4 Tsp Salt

Method
  1. Add some sugar to get melted, then melt the sugar to the base of the pan.
  2. Next add milk to a pan over medium heat, then add a stick of butter and mix until melted, then add some condensed milk. 
  3. Cut 6 Slices of bread into strips and place them in the bowl with the melted sugar, then add the golden raisins. 
  4. Break 6 eggs into a bowl, and whisk together. To the bowl add the salt, nutmeg, cinnamon, and vanilla extract, and mix it all together. 
  5. Mix both solutions together, and then add the pudding mixture into the bowl with the bread. 
  6. Add the pudding into a pot with 1.5 inches of water, and leave it for 40 - 50 minutes and cover. 
  7. Serve and Enjoy!
