INGREDIENTS
- 25 Goan Sausages
- 3 Cups Basmati Rice
- 1 Big Tomato
- 2 Big Onions
- 2 Tbsp Oil
- 2 Tbsp Butter
- 2 Green Chilies
- 1/4 tsp Turmeric Powder
- 1 Tsp Salt
- 10 Cardamom
- 2 Bay Leaves
- 12 Cloves
- 2 Cinnamon Sticks
- 1/2 tsp Sugar
- 6 Cups Chicken Broth
- 3 Tsp Ginger Garlic Paste
Method
- In a pot over med - high heat add some oil. Then add the bay leaves, cloves, cinnamon sticks, and cardamom. Then add the onions and sauté everything.
- Then Add Salt and the Tomatoes and mix together. Then add the green chilies and the ginger garlic paste. Mix together and then add the rice. Mix together.
- Add the turmeric powder and mix together. Then boil the chicken broth and add hot and add Sugar.
- Cover and cook until the water evaporates. Add the butter and continue to close and cook.
- Add the sausages and mix together. Then cover again and cook for 5 minutes on low heat.
- Serve Hot and Enjoy!!
