Delicious Goan Pork Amsol - Sousa's Kitchen

 


 INGREDIENTS

  • 2 lbs Pork / 1kg 
  • 1 Tsp Salt
  • 1/2 Tsp Turmeric Powder
  • 1/2 Tsp Sugar
  • 2 Pieces of Cinnamon Sticks
  • 1 Green Chili
  • 2 Tsp Ginger Garlic Paste
  • 8 Dried kokum
  • 4 Small or 2 Large Dry Chilies
  • 2 Tbsp Oil
  • 2 Onions
  • 1 Tsp Cumin Seeds
  • 1 Tsp Black Pepper

Method
  1. To the bowl of pork add the Salt, Ginger Garlic Paste, Turmeric Powder, Black Pepper, Vinegar, and Mix together and let it marinate for 1 hour. (The Longer the Better)
  2. Add oil to a pot over medium heat. Then add the cumin seeds, Next Break and add the red chilies, and then add the onions, Next add the green chilies, Cinnamon Sticks, Kokum, Pork, and Sugar then cover and let it cook for 10 - 15 minutes. 
  3. Serve and Enjoy!!
