Delicious Healthy Crispy Chivda - Sousa's Kitchen

 

INGREDIENTS

  • 340 g Crispy Rice
  • 350 g Boondi
  • 120 g Plain Chips
  • Masala Peanuts / Peanuts
  • 1 Tbsp Chat Masala
  • 4 Tbsp Oil
  • 1 Tsp Turmeric
  • 1/2 Tsp Asafetida ground
  • 1/2 Tsp Salt
  • 1 Tsp Fennel Seeds
  • 1 Tsp Paprika
  • 4 Stems Curry Leaves
  • 1/2 cup Cashews
  • 2 Cups Potato Sticks
  • 1/2 Cup Raisins

Method
    1. In a pot over low heat add the Oil, then add the Mustard Seeds, and the Asafoetida, and mix.
    2. Then add the Curry Leaves, Fennel seeds, Cashews, Raisins, and mix together.
    3. Then Add the Paprika, and Turmeric, roast for about 2-3 Minutes, then add the Crispy Rice, and mix everything together.
    4. Add the Plain Chips, Potato Sticks, Boondi, and Masala Peanuts or Roasted Peanuts, and salt, Chaat Masala and mix.
    5. Place the Chivda into a oven safe container / pan.
    6.  Preheat the Oven to 350ºF, then place it into the oven for 10 minutes
    7. At 5 minutes, stir the Chivda, and place back into the oven for 5 minutes. 
    8. Serve and Enjoy!
