Crispy Fried Onions - Sousa's Kitchen

 

INGREDIENTS

  • 6 Large Onions
  • Oil for Deep Frying

Method
  1. Cut 6 Onions into small pieces, Place the onions into a bowl and heat up oil on the stove at 350ºF
  2. Turn off the flame, add the onions, and turn the flame back on.
  3. Cook until Golden brown, and stir to avoid burning. Once Golden brown, remove and place on a paper towel, then use a fork to spread apart the clumps.
  4. Place in a Zip Lock bag and place into the freezer to become more crispy. 
  5. Serve on many different dishes or as a snack, and enjoy!
