Goan Banana Filoz / Fritters - Sousa's Kitchen

 


INGREDIENTS

  • 1 egg
  • 2 Large Bananas
  • 1 Cup Wheat Flour
  • 1/2 cup Grated Coconut
  • 3/4 cup Jaggery
  • 1 Tsp Salt
  • 1 Tsp Cardamom
  • 1/2 cup Water (As required)
  • 1/2 Cup Milk
  •  Butter for frying

Method
  1. In a bowl add an egg and Whisk. Then add the bananas and mix together. Then add the Cardamom and mix together
  2. Next add the Salt, grated coconut and mix completely. Slowly add the wheat flour into the batter. 
  3. Then add the milk slowly into the batter. Then add about 1 tbsp of butter into the batter and add as much or as little water as needed as per the consistency you want. 
  4. In a pan over medium heat, add some butter. Then add about 1 1/2 spoonful of the batter onto the pan and cook for about 1 minutes or until the sides turn brown. Flip and cook the other side.
  5. Place them into a plate and then repeat until the batter is all used. 
  6. Serve hot and Enjoy!
