Mother's Day Special Egg Pasta with Italian Sausage and Bacon - Sousa's Kitchen

 


INGREDIENTS

  • 1 Tbsp Chilly Flakes
  • 1 Tsp Black Pepper
  • 2 Tsp Salt
  • 1 Tsp Maggie Powder / 2 Cubes 
  • 1 Tbsp Oil
  • 16 Oz Egg Pasta
  • 5 Medium Italian Sausages
  • 1/2 Chopped Parsley
  • 1 Medium Fine Chopped Onion
  • 1 Cup Diced Tomato
  • 1 Tbsp Ginger Garlic Paste
  • 1 Cup Heavy Cream
  • 1/2 Cup Parmesan Cheese
  • 5 Strips of Fine Chopped Bacon
  • 2 Tbsp Butter

Method
  1. In a pot of boiling water add the egg pasta, then add some salt to the pot. Stir and allow the pasta to cook. After the pasta is cooked, strain it into a strainer
  2. Add half of the butter into the pasta and mix
  3. Add the oil into a pot over medium heat. Then add the butter. Add the chopped bacon and allow to cook then add the onions and mix together. Then add the tomatoes and mix.
  4. Add the Ginger Garlic Paste, and then add the black pepper and chilly Flakes. Next add the sausages and break them apart. Make sure to flip the sausages so that they are fully cooked. 
  5. Next add the egg pasta, and mix the pasta with the mixture in the pot. Add the Maggie powder and mix together. Add the heavy cream and parmesan cheese, and mix until completely mixed. Then add the chopped Parsley.
  6. Cover and cook for 2 minutes. Then turn the flame off and leave covered for a few minutes.
  7. Serve Hot and Enjoy. (Happy Mother's Day)
