Goan Coconut Chutney Sandwiches / Appetizers - Sousa's Kitchen

  


INGREDIENTS

  • 2 Cups Fresh Grated Coconut
  • 1 ½ Cup Fresh Coriander
  • 3 Green Chilies
  • 1 Small Onion
  • 1 Tbsp Tamarind
  • 1 Tbsp Butter
  • 3 Tbsp Sugar
  • ½ Tsp Turmeric Powder
  • 1 Tsp Cumin Powder
  • 2 Tsp Salt
  • 5 Cloves of Garlic

Method
  1. Add the Grated Coconut to the blender, then add the Cumin powder, Turmeric Powder, Salt, Sugar, Garlic Cloves, Green Chilies, Roasted Onions, Coriander, and the Tamarind. Add some water and then Blend until smooth.
  2. Add the chutney into a container, and then add the butter into the chutney
  3. Grab a slice of bread and apply the chutney, then grab another slice and add some butter, and the add a slice of cheese, and another piece of bread. 
  4. Cut off the crust (optional) Cut in half. Repeat as needed.
  5. Serve and Enjoy
