Goan Mutton | Lamb | Beef Xacuti | Curry - Sousa's Kitchen

 


INGREDIENTS

  • 5 Small Red Chilies
  • 4 Green Chilies
  • 2 Maggie / Chicken Bullion Cubes
  • 4 Tsp Ginger Garlic Paste
  • 1 Piece of Ginger
  • 15 pieces of Garlic
  • 2 Lb / 1 Kg Mutton
  • 4 Pieces of Anise Star Whole
  • 4 Tsp Sugar
  • 1 Tsp Garam Masala
  • 2 Stem of Curry Leaves
  • 2 Cups Grated Coconut
  • 2 Tsp Cumin Seeds 
  • 1 1/2 Tsp Salt
  • 15 Cloves
  • 2 Cinnamon Sticks
  • 2 Tsp White Poppy Seeds
  • 2 Large Onions
  • 1 Tomato
  • 1 Bunch Cilantro
  • 4 Tbsp Oil
  • 1 Tsp mace

Method
  1. In a instant pot or pressure cooker add in the mutton/lamb/beef or any meat of your choice. Then add Salt and Ginger Garlic Paste. Add some water and set the instant pot to cook for 15 minutes. 
  2. Then on a pan add some oil and add the onions. Sauté the onions. Add the Ginger and the Garlic pieces, Then add the chilies and the curry leaves. Add the coconut and mix together.
  3. Add the turmeric and mix together. Then add all of the dry spices. Mix together. 
  4. Add the cilantro. Then Add everything from the pan into a blender. Add some water and then mix until smooth. 
  5. In a pot add some oil and then add the rest of the onions. Then add some salt and the Maggie cubes, the tomatoes, ginger garlic paste. Then add the mixture from the blender. Mix until everything is mixed together. 
  6. Add in the mutton and mix together. Add some water from the blender, and continue to mix. Cover and cook until it boils. Open the lid and add some Sugar, Garam Masala, and mix together. Serve in a bowl.
  7. Serve and Enjoy!!
