INGREDIENTS
- 36 Oz Coconut Cream
- 2 Cups All Purpose Flour
- 12 Egg Yolks
- 1/2 Tsp Nutmeg
- 1/4 Tsp Salt
- 2 1/2 Cups Sugar
Method
- Add the egg yolks to the mixer and mix until smooth. Then add the sugar into the mixer and mix until both are combined. Then add in the Coconut Cream and mix.
- Mix the flour and the salt together, and slowly add them into the mixer. Then add the nutmeg.
- Place a strainer into a bowl and add the mixture into the strainer. Split the batter into 3 different bowls. Then add a few drops of Yellow, Green, and Red food coloring into each of the batter bowls. Mix together.
- Preheat the broiler to 420º F, Then add Ghee / Clarified Butter to the base of 2 oven safe containers. Add a piece of parchment paper in each and add Ghee / Clarified Butter on top of the paper.
- Add about 2 1/2 Cups of the yellow batter to both containers and add on the stove on low heat and cook for about 2 - 3 minutes. Then Place them into the broiler. After the top is golden brown remove them.
- Place a layer of Ghee / Clarified Butter and add the green layer. Then place it back into the broiler and cook until golden brown. Then remove and add another layer of Ghee / Clarified Butter and finally the red color. Then continue to repeat until the batter is over. (Remember to add the Ghee / Clarified Butter for each layer)
