INGREDIENTS
- 2 Egg Yolks
- 4 Cups All Purpose Flour
- 1 Cup Crushed Almonds
- 16 OZ / 453g Butter
- 1 1/2 Cup Powered Sugar
- 2 Tsp Baking Powder
- 2 Tsp Almond Extract
Method
- Mix the Baking powder and the Flour together. Add the butter into the mixer. Add the powdered Sugar into the mixer and start to mix on slow.
- Add the Egg Yolks and the Almond Extract. Slowly add the Flour one spoon at a time, while mixing on slow. Then repeat the same steps with the Crushed Almonds.
- Check to make sure that the dough is not sticking to your hands, and cover and let it rest for 1 hour.
- Gently grab the dough and roll it in your palms to form a ball. Place each ball about 1-2 inches away from each other and using a cookie press. Press them into your desired design.
- Repeat until you use all of the dough.
- Preheat the oven to 350º F. Bake the cookies for 10-12 minutes or until the corners are golden brown.
